One Saturday a year, four wheels and a century of history take over Alton's High Street.
One Saturday a year, four wheels and a century of history take over Alton's High Street.
An independently-filmed highlight piece capturing the 2026 Alton Classic Car Show, run by the Alton Lions Club in aid of St Michael's Hospice – Hospice at Home. This year's show featured "The French Connection" — around 20 French classic cars — alongside a century of everyday motoring history, live music, and the local High Street shops and pubs the show spills into.
This film was shot independently and on spec — it is not an official Alton Lions Club production, and no commercial relationship with the event is implied.
Warm, sunlit colour grade. Macro detail inserts — badges, chrome, wheels, light catching each car's paintwork — cut against wide, community-scale shots of the crowd and High Street.
A recurring "badge reveal" transition used across multiple cars ties the detail shots together into a montage.
Opens on a macro montage of badges and wheels, before pulling wide to establish the High Street lined with cars. Moves through the French Connection feature display, then into the community and charity beats — families, live music, local shopfronts — before closing back on the crowd.
Licensed upbeat, nostalgic music bed, layered with ambient crowd and engine sound design.
