Beach Dubbin' 2026

An independent look at Beach Dubbin' — the UK's biggest free charity VW show on the South Coast, filmed on Southsea Common.

Beach Dubbin' has run since 2018 and is a 100% charity event — over £137,000 raised to date, primarily for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. Free entry, classic Volkswagens, custom builds, and a genuinely great crowd. Their own line says it best: "The Ultimate VW Show by the sea."

This film was shot independently and on spec — it is not an official Beach Dubbin' production, and no commercial relationship with the event is implied. The goal was simple: document the day as it felt, and show what considered event coverage of a show this size can look like.

Tone: warm, energetic, people-first. The cars draw the crowd — the crowd is the story.
